Ex-kagawad arrested for illegal drug dealing
CALASIAO—A former barangay kagawad in the drug watch list was arrested dawn Thursday in a buy-bust operation by anti-narcotics and police operatives here.
The suspect was identified as Larry Bauzon, 36, married, resident of Barangay Gabon here.
He was nabbed after he handed one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu in exchange for two pieces of marked P500 bills to an undercover policeman.
Body search of the suspect made by PO1 Jojo Vallo yielded eight other sachets containing white substance believed to be shabu and two P500 bills.
A case for violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of RA 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.—Tita Roces
