Chessfest in Urdaneta, April 26
AFTER the successful staging of the First BIR RD06 Open Chess Tournament in Urdaneta City last March 22, the Eastern Pangasinan Chess Center under the leadership of its president Virgilio Pacion and event coordinator Allain Garcia will stage another chess competition with the same format on April 29 at the second floor of CB Mall.
Dubbed as “2nd BIR RD06 Open Chess Tournament”, Pacion said the tourney offers cash prizes, trophies and medals.
The open tourney will be done in one category only but the top lady competitor and the top senior contestant will receive incentive prizes. —JAGJr.
