DAGUPAN voters with incomplete biometric data can complete their registration information on May 6 to ensure that they can vote in the 2016 elections.

Ericson Oganiza, Dagupan City election officer, said some 26,000 of the more than 100,000 voters in the city have not completed their biometric records and are at risk of being deactivated from the Commission on Election (Comelec) list.

Deactivation is pursuant to the Mandatory Biometric Registration Act.

In addition, voters who failed to exercise their right and responsibility to vote in the past two consecutive elections will also be deactivated.

The list of registered voters with incomplete biometric data soon will be posted at the city office. —Dada Austria
