Power interruption scheduled in 2 cities, 12 towns on March 25
DAGUPAN and Alaminos cities, along with 12 municipalities, will experience a nine-hour power cut beginning at 7 a.m. on March 25.
The towns that will affected are Labrador, Sual , Mabini, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Agno, Bani, Anda, Bolinao, Calasiao, Sta. Barbara.
The power supply interruption is due to an annual preventive maintenance and testing of 100 megavolt ampere power transformer at Labrador Substation to be conducted by power distributors Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (CENPELCO) and Pangasinan III Electric Cooperative (PANELCO III).
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said regular line maintenance along the Labrador-Bani-Bolinao 69 kilo volts line will also be conducted simultaneous with CENPELCO and PANELCO III’s maintenance and testing of their instrument transformers.
Normal operations will immediately resume upon work completion.
