Cabo shot dead
MANGALDAN—A cabo, one who collects jai alai bets, was shot dead Wednesday evening in Barangay Malabago here.
The victim was identified as Nelson Estribor, 34, who was on board his motorcyle when he was fired upon by unidentified suspects on board a grey car at around 10 p.m.
Estribor died on the spot due to gunshot wounds on his head and chest, according to SP01 Alex Serapion of the local police station.
The police recovered two spent shells from a .45-caliber pistol at the crime scene.
Police have yet to determine the motive behind the killing.–Tita Roces
