URDANETA CITY-Three persons who fired shots in a commercial area were arrested by the police after a brief chase along the  Maharlika  Highway in Nancayasan here.

The suspects, who were on board a  black Mitsubishi lancer,  were identified as Ramil Ancheta,, 29  Julia Viduya,  52;  and Luigi Parayno, 26,   of Barangay Palina East.

One Smith and Wesson, snub nose Cal.38 revolver containing three  live ammunition  and two fired cartridges were confiscated by the police from the suspects.

Investigation disclosed that the suspects’ vehicle was parked in front of the 7-11 Store in Nancayasan where they fired  two succeeding shots from a hand gun before driving south.

Members of the police mobile patrol immediately chased the suspects and when they got near, they told the trio to pull over.

The unlicensed hand gun was found tucked in the waist of  Ancheta.
