WHO CARES ABOUT A PERMIT?—Shielded from public eye, renovation work reportedly continues to be undertaken daily inside the MC Adore hotel property in Dagupan City by the new owner, Amb ALC Holdings & Management Corp., even without a building permit from the City Engineering Office as required under the law. No one, except the contractor’s workers, are allowed inside the compound. The renovation of a part of the building that now houses the Citystate Savings Bank branch was also completed without the building permit. Does anyone care about securing a building permit?
