By December 23, 2013Inside News, News

FILIPINO time used to connote always being late.

But with the institution of the Philippine Standard Time (PST) through the passage of Republic Act 10535 in May 2013, that could slowly be changing and for good measure, January 1 to 7 every year has been set as National Time Consciousness Week.

In line with this, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) have issued a public reminder to synchronize watches with the PST found in the two agencies’ websites: dost.gov.ph and pagasa.gov.ph.
