Forex shop owner robbed
AN owner of a foreign currency exchange shop lost US$6,250, worth about P271,000, last December 5 to an unidentified suspect who posed as a customer.
The victim, Michael Edades, 33, owner of Joshua Money Changer Shop located along A.B. Fernandez West in Dagupan City, reported that he made the transaction over the phone after the suspect called for the purchase of American dollars.
Upon arriving at the shop, the suspect, on board a silver Toyota Corolla with plate number CSG 412, pointed a gun at Edades, took the money and fled.—Eva Visperas
