THE last bicycle road race for the year in the province will be held in Calasiao on December 18 in conjunction with the celebration of the Puto Festival.

Expecting a maximum of 60 participants, the event is open to veteran and executive riders.

It will start and finish in Calasiao traversing parts of Dagupan City via the De Venecia Highway, Binmaley, Lingayen, Labrador via barangay Domalandan, Sual, and Alaminos City with an approximate total distance of 112 kilometers.

The bikefest will be sponsored by Excellent Noodles owned by Alex Billan in coordination with the municipal government led by Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay.

The mayor and his father, Vice Mayor Roy Macanlalay, will flag off the participants and award the prizes for the top ten winners at the town’s plaza. – JAGJr.
