BHW, day care workers get extra allowance
LINGAYEN—Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Day Care Workers in the province will get each P500 bonus this month as an extra allowance.
“The grant of amelioration allowance this Christmas will help them cover their expenses during the holiday season,” says the approved Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) resolution authored by 5th District Board Member Clemente Arboleda Jr.
Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr., chair of the SP, said 5,000 BHWs and 1,000 day care workers who were in active service until November 30, 2013 will benefit from the grant..–Johanne R. Macob and Eva Visperas
