Urdaneta sets new requirement for employers
MANDATORY PAG-IBIG REGISTRATION
BUSINESS employers in the city will soon be required to register all their employees under the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) as a prerequisite to securing a mayor’s permit to operate a business.
The city government of Urdaneta will ink a Memorandum of Agreement with Pag-IBIG Fund on November 19 to set the requirement following an approved city ordinance.
The local government of Urdaneta agreed to help in the implementation of RA 9679 by incorporating it into the requirements for issuance of the mayor’s permit, the first local government in Pangasinan to do so. (PIA1-Pangasinan/VHS)
