Population office sets mass wedding Dec. 14 for 150 couples
SOME 150 couples will take part in a grand mass wedding on December 14 at the Lyceum-Nortwestern University Gymnasium organized by the Dagupan City Population Office (POPCOM).
The venue was offered by LNU’s president, Atty. Gonzalo T. Duque, setting an example for public-private partnership in a project for indigents.
The City Population Office is now conducting Pre-Marriage Counseling Seminars to couples in preparation for the wedding.
Alex P. De Venecia, POPCOM head, called on Dagupeños to refer indigent couples who want to get married but feel constrained to put it off due to limited financial resources.
