Dagupan police offered Globe UNLI-calls, texts

THERE was a day of UNLI texts and calls provided by the Dagupan City Police Station in partnership Globe Telecom last Nov. 1 for “Libreng Tawag, Libreng Text Alay ng Pulis Dagupan sa Undas” in all six cemeteries in the city.
Supt. Christopher Abrahano, city police chief, told The PUNCH that a retail store organized the free service at selected police desks as part of the city police’s public safety and security coverage during the celebration of Undas.
“It was an unlimited call to Globe subscribers and unlimited text to all networks,” Abrahano explained “but calls to other networks were also granted in emergency cases,” he added.
Abrahano the police provincial office and had ordered it adopted at least in San Carlos, Urdaneta and Alaminos . (Eva Visperas)
