20 students get scholarship for 2D animation
SCHOLARSHIP grants for an eight-month course on 2D Animation were recently awarded to 20 students under a joint project of the Dagupan City government, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and TechSkills.
The scholars were screened based on qualifications set by TESDA in collaboration with the city under the Better Education and Livelihood for Employment Needs (Project BELEN) program.
The scholars are Earl Briane Callanta, Jefferson Calugay, Mark Jesson Cui, Joeboy Daroy, Alexander Dela Cruz, Siegfred Diaz, John Henry Elias, Llyod Esmeralda, John Nemesio Fernandez, Melvin Laguerta, Julone Marcellones, Jonnifer Medio, Dan Reginald Nate, Samuel Palaroan Jr., Irish Abbegayle Paulino, Marion Quebral Jr., Dranreb Quinantoto, Gerard Anthony Quitiquit, Carlo Vidal, Gie Marc Yambao, Jonathan Michael Arcega, Leandro Lo Callanta, Kenneth Eliscupides and Irene Landingin.
Joining Fernandez in awarding the scholarship certificates were TESDA Pangasinan Supervising Specialist Engr. Amelito Cardenas and TechSkills Administrator Engr. Raul P. Taminaya. (CIO)
