South Korean student drowns in Bolinao
BOLINAO—A South Korean student drowned at the Bolinao Falls in Barangay Tupa here in the afternoon of October 5 while on a fun trip with friends.
The victim was identified as Hyung Ho Kwon, 24, student of CNS International Language School in Baguio City.
He was swimming with his two classmates Jong Ha Kim and Young Myoung Kim, both aged 19 and single, who tried to rescue him but found him already dead by the time they reached him.
The victim stayed in the water after his companions decided to go to shore.—Eva Visperas
