Mangaldan parish holds medical mission
The Parish of Our Lady Miraculous Medal in Mangaldan recently conducted a successful one-day medical-dental-pre natal health care and feeding program in the community.
Led by parish priest, Rev. Fr. Frank Vargas, C.M., and supported by the Pangasinan chapters of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) and the Philippine Medical Association (PMA), the activity provided free dental and health to indigent families.
Some 100 residents were given free tooth extraction by PDA members led by Dr. Dodie Echevarria, president, while 60 more were treated by the PMA medical team headed by RHU officer of Mangaldan, Dr. Ophelia T. Rivera. Expectant mothers were given a free check-up by a team of OB-Gyne doctors led by Dr. Lilia M. Santos.
