Another PESO mini-jobs fair held
LINGAYEN– Three companies for local employment and one company for overseas employment hired new job-seekers during a mini jobs fair organized by the Provincial Employment and Services Office (PESO) on October 18, 2013 at the PESO, Ground Floor, Kalantiao Bldg, Capitol Complex.
Local employment opportunities were for 300 customer service representatives, 300 technical support representatives, machine operators, QA/ QC/ visual inspectors, engineering staff, office staff, production staff, crane operators, accounting staff, sales associates/ sales clerk/ promodizer, frontliner/ merchandizers, cashier, rider, management trainees, marketing manager, brand management officer, area marketing officer.
Meanwhile, job openings for overseas are available for Taiwan (factory workers); Kuwait (plumbers, pipe fitters, mechanical helpers, project engineers, electricians, welders, installation technicians, storekeepers, light vehicle drivers, materials engineers, laborer controllers, site engineers, mechanical engineers, sanitary technicians, surveyor assistants, and safety engineers); United Arab Emirates (carpenters, rebar workers, scaffolders, welders, safety manager, safety officers, architectural engineers, and document controllers); and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (registered female nurses, infection control nurses, dentists or orthodentists, international cook, respiratory therapists, lab technicians, computer technicians, mason/ plasterer, and car tinter).
According to PESO Manager Alex Ferrer, there were at least 1,200 Pangasinenses hired this year through the almost 20 jobs fair conduct by his office.
A mega jobs-fair will also be conducted on October 29 at the Provincial Training and Development Center. –Johanne Margarette R. Macob
