THE Lingayen-based Pangasinan Chess League (PCL) headed by Don Juan Sison will stage another chess tournament on September 15, this time for children 14 years old and below at the Robinsons Place Pangasinan in Calasiao.

PCL events director Allen Garcia stressed that the games are exclusively for Pangasinenses.

The tournament proper, which will adopt the Swiss system of pairings, will start at 11:00 and registration can be done on site.

Trophy and cash prizes are up for grabs.

Backing the one-day tournament is the municipality of Calasiao thru Mayor Mark Roy Macanlalay and the local Department of Education office.–JAGJr.
