The 21-year old Ferrer, sharing her motto to succeeding batch of examinees, said, “Magsumikap ka dahil wala kang ibang maaasahan kundi sarili mo lang pagdating ng board exam kaya umpisahan nang magbasa habang maaga at wag kalimutang magdasal.”
Dr. Susan R. Rosario, dean of the college of radiologic technology and Program Coordinator Mary Ann M. Solis expressed elation on the first time that a VMUF graduate topped the X-Ray board.
VMUF’s other topnotchers were: May Abigail M. Miranda, November 2012 Midwife Licensure Examination; Catherine B. De Guzman-Torio, 2005 Midwife Licensure Examination and has since become VMUF’s dean for midwifery; Jacquilene F. Nilo, Physical Therapist Board Examination and the United States National Physical Therapist Examination given in 2001.
Other VMUF graduates who belong to the new batch of x-ray technologists are Roy L. Fernandez and Rose Joy M. Buison.
The VMUF administration headed by its president and board of trustees chairman, Dr. Ma. Lilia P. Juan, congratulated the new record holder and all the new board passers in X-Ray Technologist.
She commended them for giving another feather to the VMUF cap and for keeping the university globally competitive.
