Decorp engineer wounded in shooting
An engineer of the Dagupan Electric Corporation (Decorp) is now in serious condition after being shot by two men riding in tandem on a motorcycle in front of the Decorp plant in Barangay Bacayao here at about 6:55 a.m. Thursday.
Amado Dizon, 35, of Mangaldan town, a systems engineer, was on board his own motorcycle when the suspects in another motorcycle overtook him and opened fire several times.
He sustained several gunshot wounds in different parts of his body and was rushed by his co-employees to the adjacent Villaflor Doctors Hospital in Dagupan City.
The police, who are now investigating the possible motive of the crime.
