COMBATING DENGUE
COMBATING DENGUE—Students from Dagupan City National High School take part in releasing some 20,000 mosquito fish on July 17, 2013 in the canals and drainage system along the University belt of Dagupan in Tapuac road to help control the proliferation of mosquitoes which could carry diseases such as dengue and chikungunya. The dispersal of mosquito fish, provided by the National Integrated Fisheries and Technology Center (NIFDC), is a biological means of combating the disease-carrying mosquitoes.
