Sison re-elected as P’sinan chess head
THE Pangasinan Chess League held its 2013 election of officers on June 16 at in Lingayen and re-electionist Don Sison received another year of mandate as the league’s president.
Joining Sison, a native of Lingayen, to serve another term are Robert Bautista as vice president for internal operations, Robert Hombrebueno, VP for external affairs; German Francisco, secretary-general; Allen Garcia and Mharco Cayabyab for events and marketing, Tomas Ferrer, treasurer, and Dick Yuson, auditor. Ed Suarez will head the training chess academy.
The members of the board of directors are: Ronald Castillo, Don Sison, James Castillo, Tomas Ferrer (alternate), Ed Tuliao, German Francisco, Robert Hombrebueno, Robert Bautista, Dick Yuson, Francisco Junio, Jr., Ed Suarez, Bert Pascua, Willie Paeste, Zaldy Falcon, Allen Garcia and Mharco Cayabyab.
The names of the elected set officers will be submitted to the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP).–JAGJr.
