MARTINEZ FAMILY BACKS ESPINO—The members of the family of slain Infanta Mayor Ruperto Martinez urge the Department of Justice to drop the murder charges against Governor Amado Espino Jr. and 1st District Rep. Jesus Celeste in a press conference held April 30 and issued an appeal to politicians to stop using the murder case as part of their “black propaganda” against the governor whom they claim is falsely accused. The family members (eldest son, Richard (2nd from right); daughter-in-law, Jennifer (center); and youngest son, Marvin are accompanied by with their legal counsels.
