THEY allegedly ride around town up to the wee hours of the morning and the noise that their motorcycles make are upsetting residents.

Dasol Mayor Noel Nacar alleges that the motorcycle-riding men are supporters of his opponent Erickson Verzosa.

Nacar, speaking during the KBP) forum on Thursday,  said there are about 30 riders and he heard reports that Verzosa recently purchased another six motorcycle units to bolster the group’s number.

Nacar said these men on bikes are fueling  tension in the town where a campaign-related incident already took place resulting in Nacar and Verzosa’s camps filing counter charges against each other.

Nacar clarified that these motorcycle men are “not goons” but town residents, and do not carry firearms.

Nonetheless, Dasol said he feels uneasy about them and he senses that the people are starting to fear a deterioration in the peace and order situation.
