EDUCATOR IN CHINA—Polytechnic University of the Philippines political science professor and Pag-ibig Development Fund consultant Procopio “Pepe” de Vera, a native of Bani, Pangasinan stands on the world famous Great Wall of China after a four-day visit of China that included forging an agreement with Chinese economic investors last week. De Vera says his group led by Pag-Ibig trustee Jaime Miralles inked an agreement with China Commercial Credit Loan Package for the funding with low interest rate of Philippine local government projects including hospitals, schools, irrigation systems and other development projects. He said the processing of loans will be fast and trouble-free.
