SUAL INTERNATIONAL SEAPORT—The Sual International Seaport is now ready to accommodate small sea vessels, including barges and LCTs (Landing Craft Tanks) following the completion of the project’s first phase which was funded by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA). The first phase covers the 180-meter wharf and a rock-causeway, according to PPA Regional Director Silverio Mangaoang. The P200-million second phase, to be funded by the provincial government, will involve the dredging of the Baquioen Bay to enable bigger international ocean-going vessels to berth.
