1st Wellness Congress held in Dagupan
THE 1st Wellness Congress in Pangasinan was held February 28 in Dagupan City with participants from the neighboring provinces of La Union and Tarlac as well.
The congress, which provided various training for the health and wellness industry such as spa, therapeutic massage, and beauty culture, was sponsored by 2nd District Representative Leopoldo N. Bataoil with help from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The project started out in Binmaley town where residents from the 33 barangays were given training and kits for livelihood development.
Bataoil vowed he will continue with the project, saying, “Ito’y isang livelihood program na mapapakinabangan ng mga kababayan natin who like to engage in such skills.”
