SAN CARLOS CITY—The screening of candidates for Miss San Carlos City 2013 was held February 16 at the City Bulwagan participated in by 15-21 year old aspirants with roots in the city.

Aside from the beauty contest categories of swimsuit, gown and question-and-answer, the pageant will also feature a best in mango-bamboo costume to highlight the city’s two top products.

The Talent Night will be on April 6 while the Coronation of winners will be on April 27, the grand ball of the mango-bamboo festival.

Fifteen semi-finalists will be chosen to vie for the crown and four runner-up positions, including special awards for the Miss Talent, Miss Photogenic, Best in Gown, Best in Swimsuit, and Miss Friendship.

Trophies and cash prizes await the winning young ladies. (CIO)
