THE second edition of the Mangaldan Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) cagefest, under the leadership of SK Federation president Charlene Joy Flores, opens on February 24 at the town’s newly-renovated Macario Ydia Development Center.

There will be two categories in the basketball competition: the 19 year-old below and the open age.

Organizers are aiming to lure in at least 20 teams for each category, spearheaded by defending champion Barangay Poblacion.

The Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) Pangasinan chapter, headed by its president Conde Padillo, will handle the officiating. –JAGJr.
