AN educational video produced in Singapore called “Han Zi Gong” was donated by members of Batch 79 of Divine World Academy of Dagupan (DWAD) to  to their alma mater to help current and future students learn the Mandarin Chinese language faster.

Mandarin is already included in the DWAD curriculum for its students.

Han Zi Gong is a revolutionary Chinese video encyclopedia that makes learning of Chinese characters simple, effective and enjoyable, said Wilson Chua, chief operating officer of the Dagupan-based Bitstop and a member of Batch 79.

“Now that China’s economy is rated number 2, possibly number 1 this 2013, naisip ng batch namin to put emphasis on Chinese language training. Kaya we thought of supporting DWAD with training materials,” Chua said.

In contrast to traditional methods of learning Chinese that requires students to memorize the exact strokes in writing individual characters, the Han Zi Gong encyclopedia adopts the “Shuangfa Method” that uses a logical approach to help one understand and remember the Chinese characters faster.
