Red Cross’ ‘Million Volunteer Run’ set in Dagupan, Rosales

TWO venues have been set in Pangasinan by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for its “Million Volunteer Run” which is now on its second staging.

With the slogan ‘I Choose to Run to Save Lives’, the event will be held February 10 in Dagupan and Rosales, with the City Plaza and SM City as starting points, respectively.

Florame Magalong, chapter administrator of PRC- Pangasinan, said the first MVR held in December 2011 was a huge success with the participation of some 450,000 runners.

Registration for the various events are P300 for the 3-kilometer run; P350 for 5K and; P400 for 10K.

A Kiddie category for the 3K event will also be held and registration is 180.
