SANGGUNIANG Panlungsod Secretary Ryan Ravanzo wrote Judge Emma Torio last Friday and asked that the injunction order it issued on Jan. 9, 2013 “be annotated to the title of the property subject of the petition (MC Adore building and the lots on where it stands) pending full resolution on the matter.

He made the request even as he sought a postponement of the hearing scheduled by Judge Torio in response to the Opposition to the Urgent Motion to Set Hearing filed by Dagupan City Hall officials led by Mayor Benjamin Lim.

Ravanzo requested the Court to reset the hearing to give him time “to confer with my counsel, Atty. Borromeo Bustamante and study the instant action”.

In the same letter, Ravanzo said his staff received a copy of the Opposition With Urgent Motion to Set the Hearing on January 10 at 8:15 a.m. while he was on Pagadian to perform his duty as national president of the Philippine Jaycees. The motion was scanned and emailed to him by his office.

He likewise sent his letter to Judge Torio by-email to his staff whom he asked to be sent to the court immediately.

Ravanzo filed a Declaratory Relief regarding the validity of Resolution No. 6738-2012 passed by the SP during a controversial special session called by Lim on April 5, 2012 while Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez, chair of the SP, was in the United States on an official visit.
