New auditor assigned in Dagupan
A new auditor has been assigned to Dagupan effective last week.
Virgilio Quinto was designated by the Commission on Audit central office to replace Ofelia Celi who is reportedly deemed overstaying in her post.
Quinto was quoted as saying he “won’t tolerate any hanky-panky and will apply the full force of the law” in his new posting.
Celi, who was reportedly reassigned as auditor of the Dagupan City Water District (DCWD), became controversial when her reports failed to cite known irregularities in the city hall.
