3 men arrested in shabu buy-bust
DAGUPAN CITY–Three persons were arrested by the Dagupan police in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Malued here last January 2.
Arrested were Larry Zabala, 26; Philip Berot, 21;and Raffy Cristobal, 27.
The buy-bust operation that took place at the residence of Zabala was carried out by elements of the City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) and intelligence operatives of the Dagupan Police, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
A police operative disguised as a buyer transacted with Zabala for the purchase of P300 worth of shabu.
Zabala then took one piece of a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu from his black pouch and sold it to the operative.
He was arrested after receiving the marked money.
Seized from him were five more transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and one small transparent plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana.
