Three minors suspected in restaurant heist
MANGALDAN–Three minors were tagged as suspects in a robbery that took place in a restaurant in Barangay Poblacion here at past midnight of December 26.
The suspects, who are now being hunted by the police, was identified by Arnold Caluza, the restaurant owner, through the shop’s closed-circuit television camera as Rainier, 15, of Barangay Navaluan and a certain Allan and Mak-Mak.
Initial police investigation indicate the three entered JGS Food by climbing on the roof beside the establishment, removing an old piece of wooden floor, sneaking inside a hole measuring 9 inches by 14 inches, and then destroyed the restaurant’s ceiling
The suspects carted away about P3,000 in cash, which was being kept at the cashier’s booth.
