Collector held up; police hints inside job

SAN CARLOS CITY–A lady account collector was held up in Barangay Abanon here last December 11 and divested of her collections worth P12,000, a cellphone and other personal belongings.

The victim, Maria Teresa Santos, 29, account officer of the company TSPI based in Sta. Barbara town, was on board a motorcycle driven by one of her clients, Lover Boy Rosario, 23, along with along with one Felomina Sebastian.

The robbers, riding in another motorcycle without a plate number, drove up beside them, commanded Rosario to stop his motorcycle at gunpoint, grabbed the shoulder bag of the victim, and fled towards the town of Urbiztondo.

The victim and her two companions failed to identify the suspects as they were wearing helmets.

Following investigation, the police hinted that the case as a possible inside job.
