Armed men open fire on mayor’s house
BALUNGAO–Unidentified armed men riding in tandem on a motorcycle opened fire on the house of Mayor Philipp Peralta in Barangay Poblacion at about 9:00 p.m. Thursday,
The police recovered 10 empty shells from the scene but no one was hurt reported hurt.
The suspects have fled before the responding Balungao police officers arrived.
The incident was presumably a threat directed at Peralta or a member of his family.
