THE ELEVEN kapitans who filed the complaint against Alaminos City Mayor Hernani Braganza and four city officials told in a press conference they called Friday in Dagupan that all they are asking is “fairness in treatment among barangay captains, councilors and other government officials” of the city.

Tagged as “Magdalo Group”, the barangay chairmen are: Mario Rabadon (Victoria), Ronald Bautista (Cayucay), Ester Bernal (Amandiego), Trinidad Soriano (San Vicente), Milagros Payas (Landoc), Jessie Racraquin (Balayang), Jeoffrey Orpinada (Pangapisan), Eusebio Fronda Jr. (Baliyadaan), Samuel Alcantara Sr. (Poblacion), Jose Regatcho (Balangobong) and Victor Ranchez (Telbang) have been firmly standing on their grounds of complaints against the unfair treatment of the city administration.

Joining the kapitans at the press conference to express their support were Councilors Joseph Bacay, Rufina Gabriel and Ranny De Leon.

Ni hindi ko nahawakan ang sasakyan na ‘yan (referring to the fund), tapos nung nag-file na kami ng kaso, ibinigay naman nila kaso sa kapartido naman nilang SK Chairman naming ibinigay,” said Bernal.

Ranchez of Telbang said they have been hard-pressed with providing service to the people in the communities, particularly during health emergency cases, without their vehicles.
