Lim congratulates Dagupeño Esteves
RE-ELECTED AS MILIPITAS MAYOR
DAGUPAN Mayor Benjie S. Lim has commended fellow Dagupeno Jose Esteves for a “job well done” following his re-election for the fourth time as mayor of Milpitas City, California last Tuesday (American time).
Lim was elated to learn that Esteves, who is a Republican, defeated his opponent Rob Means by 72 percent of the total votes.
“And this tells us that Dagupeños, as long as we want to, could really achieve more than what we can imagine,” said the mayor of Dagupan, which has sisterhood ties with Milipitas.
Lim said Milpitas and Dagupan will continue expanding the primary objectives of the sisterhood to include cultural and student exchanges, with the involvement of established service organizations as provided for under the memorandum of agreement. (CIO)
