Honest security guard at SM City Rosales
ROSALES—An electronic gadget worth around P30,000 was left by a customer inside the SM City mall here but later recovered it, thanks to the honesty of a security personnel.
Roving guard Erwindel Valdez of Belgian Security Agency found the Apple iPAD2 in one of the tenants’ stalls at around 12:25 p.m. Wednesday and immediately turned it over to the mall’s Customer Relations Service (CRS).
A few minutes later, the iPad owner, Alfie Agpaua of Sta. Maria, Pangasinan, came to the CRS office hoping to find his lost gadget.
The CRS returned the item to Agpua upon verification of his loss.
Agpua was profuse with thanks to the guard and SM management.—Eva Visperas
