A NEW gymnasium was inaugurated Friday in Barangay Pantal, Dagupan City and a seven-classroom school building has been lined up for construction in the barangay.

The P3.5 million gym was bankrolled by the public funds under 4^th District Rep. Gina de Venecia who led the inauguration ceremony where she also announced that she has already sourced funding for the requested classrooms.

Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez, who joined the inauguration, said having an ally congresswoman translates to accomplished projects for the communities.

Meanwhile, De Venecia also announced that free eyeglasses for senior citizens are up for distribution.

The congresswoman is also providing P500,000 each to three cooperatives in Dagupan City, namely the Bangus Vendors Association, Tricycle Drivers Association and Ulopan na Sumisigay ed Dagupan as part of her livelihood development program.—Eva Visperas
