Wilkins awards “Mother of the Year 2012”
A MOTHER from Baguio City, Margarita P. Tubang, won the “Wilkins Super Mom – The Search for the Mother of the Year 2012”, besting 13 others from around the country who made it to the finals.
Tubang is a 55-year old mother of 11 children that include twins. Taking on various jobs to help provide for her children’s needs, she prides herself in having sent all of them to school, some of whom pursued a college degree.
The search for the WILKINS Super Mom kicked off last May 12 in SM Dasmariñas, coinciding with the Mother’s Day celebration. Thereafter, the search toured 14 other SM malls to urge mall goers to nominate women in their lives who they think deserve the title “Super Mom”.
The Wilkins brand is under the Coca-Cola Company.
