Traffic rerouting plan for Undas readied
THE PUBLIC Order and Safety Office announced on Thursday the traffic rerouting plan dubbed “Oplan Kaluluwa” to be enforced in Dagupan on November 1, All Saints’ Day, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
A one-way traffic system will be observed from the Burgos Street junction and corner of West Central Elementary up to the entrance and exit portion of the Eternal Memorial Gardens (east to west direction), while south and north side single column vehicle parking will be allowed along A.B. Fernandez Avenue West in Barangay Poblacion Oeste.
The entrance and exit portions connecting Lucao-Pantal diversion road are declared as a two-way lane up to the entrance and exit area of Eternal Gardens Memorial Park, while Careenan Street from north to south direction are considered a one-way lane.
Parking will be allowed only on the west side of the road.
All west and south bound passenger jeepneys and buses shall turn left at Zamora Street, exiting through Perez boulevard towards Tapuac-Lucao national highway, while all east, north and south bound passenger jeepneys from ABF avenue, Bolosan, Tambac, Downtown and Bonuan, San Carlos, Malasiqui, Sta. Barbara and Urdaneta shall turn left at Galvan Street, exiting through Perez Boulevard towards east or south direction.
From 7 a.m. onwards, all PUVs except tricycles will have to pass through the left lane along ABF Avenue turning left to Galvan or Zamora Street, while all private vehicles including for hire vehicles shall pass through the right lane.
Bonifacio Street will be a no-entry lane to all types of vehicles.
The tennis court at the poolside has been designated as a parking area, while Amado, Tapuac-Malued-Malta roads will be two-way lane traffic; Burgos Street and its extension together with Zamora Street (north to south direction) will be one-way lanes.
Rivera Street will have a two-way traffic system and no parking on the north side of the street.
The Bonuan Boquig Ayusip road is a one-way lane up to the Catholic cemetery, while no change is effected in other streets of Dagupan. (CIO)
