LINGAYEN—Pangasinan’s best athletes have been chosen to represent the province in the

Batang Pinoy North Luzon (NL) Leg, which will be held here on October 10-13.

A province-wide qualifying sports competition was held at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Complex last September 1 and 2, which included out-of-school youth. The top two winners in each field are now training as Team Pangasinan.

The Batang Pinoy NL Leg will be participated in by athletes from Regions I, II, III, and the Cordillera Administrative Regions (CAR).

The Batang Pinoy sporting event, as mandated by Executive Order No. 44, is a grassroots sports program centered on values formation.

Competing athletes are youth 15 years old and below.
