MedTech Week celebrated
MEDICAL Technologists and MedTech students in Pangasinan observed Medical Technology Week along with the rest of the nation from September 16-22.
Among the activities held for the theme “Strengthening Asian Consumption for a Greener Laboratory”, were a sportsfest, and hospital tour at the Doctor’s Villaflor Memorial Hospital and Region I Medical Center (R1MC).
A community extension program was also conducted by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET)-Pangasinan.
The Medical Technology Department of the University of Pangasinan, in cooperation with PAMET-Pangasinan and R1MC, organized a bloodletting program that collected 182 bags of blood.
