Robbers shoot tricycle driver
BINMALEY—A tricycle driver is now fighting for his life at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (PPH) after he was shot twice by suspects who hired him to bring them to Brangay Ambonao, Calasiao only to be held-up along the way and took off with his tricycle.
Marvin Coronel, 28, was found by motorists with a gunshot wound in the neck and right arm at 2:30 a.m. of July31 at Taroy Bridge in Barangay Tombor here.
The suspects hired him at a terminal in Lasip, Calasiao and when they reached Ambonao, the suspects declared a holdup and ordered Coronel at gunpoint to move to the sidecar of the tricycle.
One of the suspects then took over the driving of the tricycle.
They passed Barangayd Calit, Santa Rosa and Camaley, Binmaley then upon reaching Taroy Bridge, the suspects told Coronel to alight then shot him twice.
