DAGUPAN will soon be using a new software that will improve the city’s billing and tax collection.

The new system was introduced during a two-day workshop titled “Pilot Field Training on Business Tax Database Buildup and Estimation of Presumptive Income-Based City Business Taxes” held last week at the Malimgas Market’s Training Center.

The workshop was conducted under the auspices of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) in partnership with the city government.

Dr. Norman Ramos, ADB representative, led the lectures on the first day, while the hands-on training was conducted on the second day.

Officials and personnel of the City Treasurer’s Office, One Stop Business Center and Information and Technology Communication participated in the training.  (CIO)
