STO. TOMAS—A trailer truck with a container van as its backload was cornered in Alcala town minutes after it rammed a motorized tricycle, injuring the latter’s driver at 10:45 p.m. of July 11 along the Carmen, Bayambang road here.

Larry Rodriguez, 41, of Real, Quezon, driver of the Fuso trailer truck, however, denied his involvement in the accident that hurt Jerry Olidan, 31, of Barangay Sto. Nino, Sto. Tomas.

At that time, Rodriguez was in a convoy of three trailer trucks bound for the west direction to deliver their load of drying plant accessories.
