Drug-pushing lola arrested for the 6th time

DRUG dealers in Dagupan come in all ages.

A 79-year old grandmother was arrested by the Dagupan police in a buy-bust operation on June 18 in Barangay Pantal where she lives.

Arrested was Marcelina Doria alias Mamang, married, and works as a vendor.

Doria had previously been arrested five times and charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 for illegal drugs pushing, but was released for humanitarian consideration because of her age.

“But this time, we will make sure she will not go scot-free anymore because she has become incorrigible,” said Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr, city police chief.

Confiscated from her possession were three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing more or less one gram.
